We went out from 2AM to 6AM this morning to capture the last moments of this season's Antarctic night. A four-month long day, unbroken by sunset, is about to start. I am fried and badly need to sleep, and it was cold and windy, but the visions were unparalleled. Sadly I see that I need to clean my camera lens; a dark, round spot graces all these otherwise sublime images.... I'll take care of it after my nap.
